S.A.R.A. - Sexual Assault Report Anonymously Send it to Someone who Cares

Sexual assault and harassment is a problem that affects many Australians. People do not report because they think the incident was minor, they are too embarrassed or they do not want police involvement.

This app will allow you to report a sexual assault anonymously to the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault. A summary of anonymous data will be sent regularly to the police to enable them to better identify trends and target problem areas. By doing this we hope to make our community a safer place for everyone.

How Does it Work?

You are able to provide anonymous data of incidents of sexual assault via a number of screens. Information can include when and where the incident took place and a description of the offender. It is also possible to record an audio description and to add a video or image file.

You can elect to be contacted by a CASA counsellor. The app also has an emergency button which will connect to 000. There is an Information button that contains pages of information that may be useful to a person who has been sexually assaulted.
